Types of Changes and Required Documents

Change of Driver's License

Updating data when replacing a driver's license

Required Documents

  • Passport of the policyholder or representative

    To confirm the identity of the person submitting the application

  • Power of attorney for the representative

    When applying through a representative

  • OSAGO policy number

    To search for and identify the insurance contract

  • New driver's license

    To update driver's license data in the insurance system

Change Procedure

The existing policy is terminated and a new one is issued, taking into account the new period of use. The cost is recalculated subtracting the already expired period.

Changing the List of Drivers

Adding or removing individuals allowed to drive the vehicle

Important Restriction

Up to 5 drivers can be added to the policy. If there are more drivers, it is necessary to issue a policy without limiting the number of drivers.

  • Passport of the policyholder or representative

    To confirm the identity of the person submitting the request for change

  • Power of attorney for the representative

    If changes are made by a representative, not the policyholder themselves

    For identifying the insurance contract in the database

    For entering the driver's personal data into the policy and calculating the premium

Change of Surname

Updating personal data upon changing surname

Required Documents

  • Passport of the policyholder or representative

    New passport with the changed surname to confirm identity

  • Power of attorney for the representative

    When applying not in person by the policyholder

  • OSAGO policy number

    To search for the insurance contract in the database

  • Document on change of surname

    Marriage/divorce certificate or other document confirming the basis for changing the surname

  • New driver's license

    If the driver's license was also re-issued with the new surname

Change Procedure

The insurer makes changes to the personal data in the policy based on the provided documents without recalculating the cost.

Change of Vehicle Owner

Upon sale of the car or change of owner

Termination Procedure

Upon change of ownership, the policy is subject to early termination. The policyholder can apply and receive a refund of the remaining amount proportional to the unexpired period of the policy.

Change of Usage Period

Changing the temporary period of vehicle operation

    Required if the change entails a refund of part of the insurance premium and a representative applies

Replacement of the vehicle's registration number

Change Procedure

When changing the state registration number, the existing policy is terminated and a new policy with the new number is issued. The cost of the new policy is calculated by deducting the already paid period from the old policy.

⚠️ Please note!

According to paragraph 14 of the Rules for compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners, the policyholder is obliged to submit a copy of the vehicle's technical passport or registration certificate to the insurer within 3 working days from the date of state registration of the vehicle.
