Protection follows the project schedule

The insurance period is aligned with the works schedule. Under the standard terms, coverage begins no earlier than premium payment and unloading of the property at the construction site.

Coverage begins once the policy conditions are met and the premium is paid.

Equipment testing

No-load and operational tests during the agreed period.

Commissioning

Coverage ends on commissioning, but no later than the date stated in the policy.

If the works are temporarily suspended for reasons beyond the policyholder’s control, an extension may be agreed with the insurer in writing.
