The “Purchase Protection” programme
Smashed, drowned, stolen — the policy pays for the repair. Take it out on the day of purchase: 365 days of cover across Uzbekistan.

The direct impact of any of these risks is an insured event. Anything outside the list is not covered.
An accidental impact by another object, a fall of the phone itself, damage by animals.
Immersion in water or another liquid, liquid getting inside the device.
Theft, robbery, armed robbery, deliberate damage and hooliganism.
Fire and explosion, whatever the cause. Separately — a surge in frequency, current or voltage.
Tariff 4% of the device price
These are requirements of the insurance rules. Ignoring them is the most common reason for a refusal.
In writing, no later than 24 hours. For theft — a police statement in the same period.
The amount of the loss is set by an authorised service centre, not by the owner.
Traces of opening, self-repair or broken warranty seals remove the cover.
If the number is worn or altered and the device cannot be identified, there is no insured event.
Theft from unlocked premises or a car, or of an item left unattended, is not covered.
They prove the sum insured and the date of purchase. Without them the event cannot be settled.
“Purchase Protection” is a policy for one specific device: issued on the day of purchase, tied to the IMEI, valid for a year.
“First loss” basis: mechanical damage is indemnified in full, but no higher than the sum insured. Insured property is the device named in the policy.
A new phone and the policy on the same day. The policy carries the model, the IMEI and the price from the receipt.
Cover starts at 00:00 on the day after payment and holds for 365 days.
Smashed, splashed, stolen — you tell the insurer within a day, and the police too in case of theft.
The service centre assesses the loss. The insurer pays for the repair or, in case of total loss, for a new device.
What the policy costs
The premium is 4% of the device price on the receipt. That same price becomes the sum insured.
Device 1–2 million UZS
60 000 UZS
Device 4–5 million UZS
180 000 UZS
Device 9–10 million UZS
380 000 UZS
The tariff runs up to 30 million UZS. A specialist calculates the exact premium on request.
Unconditional deductible of 20%
20% of the loss stays with you: a repair of 2 000 000 UZS means 1 600 000 UZS under the policy.
No cash is paid out
The insurance indemnity goes to an authorised service centre against the repair, or to the supplier or the manufacturer against a new device. The insurer chooses the method.
What is not covered
One item per policy, so very few details are needed. A specialist checks them and prepares the contract.
Second-hand phones and tablets are not accepted for insurance.
The date on the receipt or warranty card matches the day the premium is paid.
The purchase document proves the price of the device — and that is the sum insured.
The IMEI and the model go into the policy. An ID is needed. One item — one policy.
Cases, headphones and chargers — neither in the box nor bought separately.
The tariff works within these limits. The premium is paid at once for the whole period.
You have 24 hours to notify. A statement can be filed through the website, the app or by email.
A written statement to the insurer — no later than a day after the event.
Theft and hooliganism — the police. Fire — a certificate from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Power surge — a certificate from the grid operator.
At least three photos of the device, including the side with the serial number and model.
The original report of an authorised service centre. The device must be shown — for liquid damage always.
A decision — up to 10 working days. The report — 3 days, the payout — another 10. A refusal comes with a reason within 3 days.
Only new phones, smartphones and tablets bought on the day the policy is paid for. Second-hand equipment is not accepted. The device is identified by its IMEI, and the date of purchase is proved by the receipt or the warranty card. Accessories are not insured — neither separately nor in the box.
The tariff is 4% of the device price. The minimum premium is 60 000 UZS for a sum insured of 1–2 million. For a device of 4–5 million the premium is 180 000 UZS, for 9–10 million it is 380 000 UZS. The upper limit is 30 million UZS with a premium of 1 000 000 UZS. It is paid at once for the whole period.
No. Cosmetic scratches, chips, cracks and paint damage that do not stop the phone working are not recognised as insured events. The policy steps in when the device is damaged or destroyed to the point where it no longer functions normally.
Theft, robbery and armed robbery are covered. You must report it to the police within 24 hours, and the fact of the break-in is confirmed by the law enforcement authorities. A phone left unattended, in unlocked premises or in a vehicle, is not covered.
No. A manufacturing defect belongs to the manufacturer's warranty, not to the policy. The policy covers external events: fire and explosion, the effect of electric current, the effect of liquid, mechanical damage and unlawful acts by third parties.
The calculation follows the expert opinion of an authorised service centre. An unconditional deductible of 20% of the loss applies to every insured event — that share stays with you. In case of total loss the indemnity is calculated within the sum insured less the deductible; in case of damage, by the cost of repair.
No. No cash is paid out. The indemnity is transferred to an authorised service centre against the repair, or to the supplier or the manufacturer against a new device replacing the destroyed one. The insurer chooses which option to apply.
Yes, if the goods were returned under the Consumer Rights Protection Act within 10 calendar days of the date of purchase. On refund, 25% administrative expenses are withheld from the earned part of the premium. If a claim or a payout has already been made, the premium is not refunded.
