EUROASIA INSURANCE and Bureau Veritas in talks at the head office

EUROASIA INSURANCE hosted a meeting with representatives of the international certification group Bureau Veritas at its head office. The agenda covered the implementation of international quality and management standards and the development of risk management, information security and ESG practices.

Bureau Veritas was represented by Victoria Legka, Certification Manager at Bureau Veritas International Doha W.L.L. for the Caspian, Türkiye and Qatar region, and Munira Rasulova, Head of the certification body Bureau Veritas Tashkent.

EUROASIA INSURANCE was represented by Jonibek Temirov, Chairman of the Management Board, Abdulxamid Nosirov, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, and Guzal Djabbarova, who is responsible for ISO standards at the company.

ISO 31000 and ISO/IEC 27001: preparing for certification

The parties discussed the phased implementation of international standards at EUROASIA INSURANCE and their integration into the company's corporate governance framework and business processes.

The discussion focused on two standards:

  • ISO 31000 — the international standard for risk management;
  • ISO/IEC 27001 — the standard for information security management systems.

Participants discussed how to implement the requirements of these standards, organise the certification process, carry out the assessment procedures and prepare for certification.

Developing ESG

Special attention was given to further developing ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) principles within the company: building a systematic approach to ESG management and reporting, and adopting international standards and best practices in this area. The company has already outlined its first practical steps here — a plan for moving to a green office.

Standards as part of daily work, not just a certificate

The meeting stressed that implementing international standards should not be limited to obtaining a certificate. What matters is integrating them into the company's day-to-day business processes, internal control, risk management, information security and corporate governance.

The company already has experience with this: in 2025, EUROASIA INSURANCE received ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system.
