According to a new rating formed on the basis of the Regulation “On the Procedure for Determining and Maintaining the Rating of Insurers,” approved by Order No. 16 of the Director of the National Agency of Perspective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 25, 2024, and registered with the Ministry of Justice on January 20, 2025 under No. 3601, the insurance company “EUROASIA INSURANCE” has taken its place among the five companies with the highest performance indicators.
According to the data of the Insurance Service Quality Rating published by the National Agency of Perspective Projects (NAPP), in the general insurance category, “EUROASIA INSURANCE” scored 105 points and ranked 5th among companies in the “High” category with an AAA rating.
Criteria Used to Determine the Rating
According to the Regulation, the rating of insurers is determined by the sum of indicators across three main areas. The most important and heavily weighted criteria are indicators related to financial reporting and the handling of insurance claims. In particular:
the share of claims reviewed in a timely manner relative to the total number of claims (up to 15 points for a high indicator);
the share of insurance compensation (payments) made on time for recognized claims (up to 10 points);
the ratio of satisfied insurance claims to the total number of claims (up to 10 points);
the ratio of payouts to collected insurance premiums, i.e., the combined ratio (up to 10 points);
the solvency margin adequacy ratio of the insurer — a key indicator of financial stability (up to 20 points for the highest criterion);
the effectiveness of investment activity and the completeness of insurance reserve formation (up to 25 points in total).
Based on this multifaceted and transparent evaluation system, the rating shows that “EUROASIA INSURANCE,” through its financial stability and consistent work in the timely and thorough handling of insurance claims, has achieved high performance indicators and earned a well-deserved place among the top five highest-rated insurance companies in the country.
