Why take out insurance for Singapore?

If you fall suddenly ill or get injured, your policy can help with medical costs, subject to its terms and limits.

    Cover within your limit

The plan covers expenses specified in the offer for sudden illness or injury. The total insured sum is different from the medical limit.

    Help from the assistance service

The assistance service will explain what to do and coordinate medical care under your policy terms.

    How payment works

The insurer may settle the bill with the clinic. In other cases, previously agreed expenses may be reimbursed against supporting documents.

Download the EUROASIA Insurance app before your trip. Separately save your electronic policy, policy number and assistance contacts on your phone so you can find them when needed.

How does your policy work during a trip?

Six steps, from choosing a plan to keeping your claim documents.

    1

    Choose a plan

Enter Singapore, your travel dates and purpose, then choose a suitable plan in the calculator.

    2

    Check the start date

After paying, check the coverage dates. If you buy the policy while already abroad, cover starts at 00:00 on the fourth day after the policy issue date.

    3

    Call when you need help

If you suddenly fall ill or get injured, call the assistance number on your policy right away.

    4

    Coordinate your care

Before visiting a clinic, agree on the care and costs with the assistance service if you can contact them.

    5

    Confirm how payment works

The insurer may pay the clinic, or your previously agreed expenses may be reimbursed.

    6

    Keep your documents

Keep medical reports, prescriptions, bills and proof of payment for a reimbursement claim.

Important: if you cannot call before receiving emergency care, call as soon as you can. Events before the start of the insurance period are not covered.

What does travel insurance cover in Singapore?

Walk around Marina Bay, then visit the conservatories at Gardens by the Bay. A EUROASIA policy is for sudden illness or injury, not planned treatment.

Across the four plans, the total insured sum ranges from €20,000 to €90,000, while the medical services limit ranges from €7,000 to €45,000. Medical transport and repatriation have separate terms. Before paying, check the territory, coverage dates and options in your policy.

Visa and SG Arrival Card: what to check before you fly

Entry rules as of 6 November 2026. Check them with ICA before travelling.

    Visa and passport

Uzbekistan citizens travelling for tourism on an ordinary passport need a visa. ICA advises applying within 30 days before arrival; a visa decision and entry at the border are not guaranteed. Your passport must be valid for at least six months.

    SG Arrival Card

The SG Arrival Card is a free electronic arrival card with a health declaration, not a visa. Submit it through the ICA e-Service or MyICA within three days, including your arrival day.

The length of your stay is decided on entry and shown on your electronic e-Pass; it is not determined by your visa’s validity. The ICA rules we checked do not set a general medical insurance requirement for tourist entry. About visa insurance.

Which plan is right for Singapore?

All four plans include Singapore in the territory defined by the offer; each was available in the calculator on 6 November 2026. The medical services limit is not the total insured sum.

    CLASSIC45 000 €18 000 €up to €5,000

What should you do if you need help?

If you suddenly fall ill or get injured, contact the assistance service. They can advise on a clinic and the payment process under your policy terms.

    1

    Contact assistance

Call the number on your policy right away. Give your policy details, location and a description of what happened.

    2

    Coordinate your care

Confirm the clinic and how payment will work. If an emergency prevented you from calling in advance, contact assistance as soon as you can.

    3

    Keep your documents

Get medical reports, prescriptions, bills and receipts. You will need them if expenses are reimbursed under the agreed process.

For a life-threatening emergency in Singapore, call an emergency ambulance on 995; this number is not for routine advice. Then tell the assistance service what happened. Learn more about claim settlement.
